Host your blog on a subdirectory: example.com/blog
LotsBlog subdirectory hosting serves your blog at example.com/blog, from the AI agent you already use and in the dashboard. You add one rewrite rule to your own site, and links, canonical URLs, the sitemap, RSS, robots.txt, llms.txt and schema all follow the /blog address, so the blog builds your main domain.
Eligible new users get 10,000 free credits, valid for 90 days, with no card required.
How it works from your agent
Ask your agent
Set up my LotsBlog blog at example.com/blog. My site runs on Vercel.- 1
Your agent starts the setup
It calls connect_domain with your site and a path such as /blog, and gets copy-ready rewrite rules for Cloudflare Workers, Vercel, Next.js, Netlify and Nginx.
- 2
You add one rule
Add the rule for your platform. It reads a private proxy secret from an environment variable named LOTSBLOG_PROXY_SECRET, so the secret never sits in your code.
- 3
Your agent confirms it
check_domain confirms the rewrite works. From then on the blog is served at example.com/blog.

Questions
- Is a subdirectory better than a subdomain for SEO?
- A subdirectory keeps the blog on your main domain, so its links and content sit with the rest of your site. A custom subdomain such as blog.example.com works too.
- What do I add to my root robots.txt?
- Add the Sitemap line that the setup shows, so search engines find the blog's sitemap at its /blog address.
- Can I move back to a subdomain later?
- Yes. Your agent can remove the subdirectory setup with remove_subdirectory, or you can do it in Settings. Canonical URLs return to your custom domain or lots.blog address, and you remove the rewrite from your site.
