LotsBlog help

Answers about running your blog from your AI agent or the dashboard. Ask AI in the dashboard reads the same answers, and agents can read them at help.md. For anything else, contact us.

Can I manage my blog from ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Connect LotsBlog to ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP agent. Create and update article drafts, upload images, manage topics, schedule or publish posts and read analytics. Ask your agent to connect a custom domain and explain the DNS records. The dashboard handles appearance; your agent can also manage your team.

How do I connect my agent?

Add https://api.lots.blog/mcp to ChatGPT, Claude or your coding agent and sign in with your Lots account. In ChatGPT, go to Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server with OAuth, tick I understand and want to continue and select Create as a plugin. Step-by-step guides for each agent are at lots.blog/agents, and the REST API documentation covers custom apps and automations.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Start on a LotsBlog subdomain or ask your agent to connect your domain through MCP, or use the dashboard. Follow the returned DNS instructions and wait for domain and SSL verification before using it publicly.

Can my agent remember my writing rules?

Keep audience, voice, facts and useful links in one optional private Markdown blog guide. Your agent reads it with your blog. You can also connect LotsNotes for maintained business context.

Can I bring articles I already have?

Yes. Save an existing article as a draft, update it, then publish or schedule it. Strategy setup and keyword research are not prerequisites.

What does the platform handle for SEO?

Hosted blogs provide technical foundations such as canonical URLs, sitemaps, metadata, structured data, RSS, llms.txt and Markdown versions of published articles. Content usefulness, competition and search-engine decisions still affect visibility. Rankings and AI citations are not guaranteed.

Can readers interact with my blog?

Yes. Hosted article pages include likes, saved posts, sharing and comments, so readers can respond, keep useful articles and continue the conversation. Enable email signup in your blog settings to let readers subscribe. Readers sign in to like, save or comment.

Will my articles rank on Google or get cited by AI?

LotsBlog handles technical SEO, schema, sitemaps and llms.txt so search engines and AI assistants can understand your pages. Rankings and citations still depend on your content and the competition.

Can my agent schedule posts, and when do they go live?

Yes. Give your agent the article, date, time and timezone. Scheduled articles are checked for publication every 15 minutes, so they go live on the next check after the scheduled time. A draft never publishes until you instruct publication or scheduling.

What do I pay for?

Pick a plan for 3, 10 or 30 blogs at a fixed monthly price, or pay $9 per blog per month from credits, charged daily. Plan coverage is used first; extra blogs beyond a plan cost that plan's per-blog rate, shown on each plan, paid from your credits automatically. Posts, page views and authors are unlimited. Writing in your agent uses its own service. Credits are usable across Lots products.

What happens if my funding ends?

Your articles stay saved, and published pages remain readable. New publishing, domain setup and uploads need plan coverage or credits. You can still access your dashboard and private drafts.

Can my blog stay private?

Yes. Keep a private blog as your workspace or use public hosting when ready. Uploaded images have public CDN URLs and should not contain confidential material.

Will anything publish without my instruction?

Saving a draft does not publish it. Ask your agent to publish or schedule, or use the dashboard.

Is my data safe?

Your data is encrypted and backed up every night, with a locked copy at a separate provider, and we test our restores. You sign in with Google or an email code, so there's no account password to steal. You can export your data and delete your account at any time. Scripts you add run only on your own verified domain, and analytics tools are added safely by ID. How we protect it: www.lotstech.com/security

Do I need WordPress or Ghost?

No. LotsBlog hosts your blog on a lotsblog.com address, your own domain or a /blog path on your existing site, with technical SEO, RSS and reader engagement built in. Your agent can also read any saved article back in Markdown.

Is there an assistant in the dashboard?

Yes. Ask AI sits in the dashboard sidebar, and the full page is at https://agent.lots.blog. It works with your own role, so it can only do what you can do. Anything that sends or deletes shows a Confirm card first, and payments and credits stay in the dashboard.

Can my blog live at example.com/blog?

Yes. The owner opens Custom Domain in the blog's settings, chooses a path on your own site, adds the one rewrite rule shown for Cloudflare Workers, Vercel, Next.js, Netlify or Nginx together with the secret it gives you, and presses Check. Your agent can set it up too. Once it's live, links, the sitemap, RSS and canonical URLs use the /blog address, and the old address redirects there.

Can I see Google Search data?

Yes. Connect Google Search Console from Analytics > Search: add LotsBlog to an existing property, or choose Set it up for me and LotsBlog verifies the blog and submits the sitemap. You see clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, top searches and top pages, refreshed once a day, and your agent can read the same numbers.

Can I add Google Analytics or other tracking?

Yes. In your blog's settings, add your GA4 Measurement ID in the Google Analytics card under Configuration, and paste your ID for Google Tag Manager, AdSense, Meta Pixel, Plausible, Microsoft Clarity, Fathom or Umami in the Integrations card under General. LotsBlog adds the official code. Visitors in Europe are asked for consent before tools that set cookies load. Your own custom scripts run only on a verified custom domain.

Can I connect a newsletter?

Yes. In your blog's dashboard, open Settings > Newsletter and connect beehiiv or Buttondown. You can add a subscribe form to the end of every post, send a post as a newsletter from the post editor, and turn on Auto-send on publish, which saves each newly published post as a draft in your newsletter for you to review and send.

What happens when I delete a post?

It moves to Trash and leaves the public site, and you can restore it. Only the owner or an admin can delete it forever, from Trash in the dashboard.

Can I invite writers?

Yes. Invite people from the Team tab, or ask your agent, and choose admin, editor or author. Authors are unlimited.

Can I move a blog to another account?

Yes. From the Team tab, transfer the blog to another account; you can stay as admin, editor or author, or leave. The other person sees what moves and whether their plan or credits cover it, and posts keep their addresses.

Can I try it free?

Yes. Eligible new accounts get 10,000 free credits, about a month of one blog, with no card required.

Do plans include LotsNotes Pro?

Yes. An active LotsBlog Pro or Business plan includes LotsNotes Pro while it lasts; sign in to LotsNotes with the same email. Starter and pay as you go don't include it.
