Publish blog posts from ChatGPT
LotsBlog lets you publish blog posts from ChatGPT. Add LotsBlog as a custom MCP server, sign in once, and ChatGPT saves drafts, uploads cover images, schedules and publishes articles on your blog and your own domain. The LotsBlog dashboard does the same work when you want to edit by hand.
Eligible new users get 10,000 free credits, valid for 90 days, with no card required.

ChatGPT writes; LotsBlog stores, hosts and publishes. Once connected, ChatGPT can:
- Create, edit and list articles, and save them as drafts with a private preview link.
- Upload cover and inline images, and add topics.
- Publish, schedule or unpublish posts. Scheduled posts go live on the next 15-minute check after their time.
- Read your private blog guide (audience, voice, facts, rules) so every session follows it.
- Connect a custom domain or example.com/blog, and check its status.
- Read blog and article analytics, and run the optional AEO article check.
The LotsBlog dashboard does the whole job too: write and edit posts, schedule, manage images, appearance, team and domains. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.
You need
- ChatGPT on the web, on a plan that supports custom MCP servers (developer mode). OpenAI offers full MCP, read and write, on Business, Enterprise and Edu; other plans may be limited to read-only tools, and saving or publishing posts needs write tools.
- On Business, only admins and owners can turn on developer mode. Workspace admins can also add LotsBlog for the workspace under Workspace settings > Apps > Create.
- A LotsBlog account. You can create one during sign-in.

List my LotsBlog blogs and their latest posts
What to ask next
- “Turn these notes into a draft article for my blog, add a cover image and send me the preview link”
- “Schedule the draft for Tuesday at 9am London time”
- “Which of last month's posts had the most views?”
If something goes wrong
- I can't find Add custom MCP server
- Turn on developer mode first: Settings > Security and login, or Settings > Apps > Advanced settings on Business, Enterprise or Edu. On Business, only admins and owners can turn it on. A workspace admin can also add LotsBlog under Workspace settings > Apps > Create.
- ChatGPT answers without using LotsBlog
- In a new chat, select LotsBlog from + > More, confirm it is connected and finish any sign-in prompt. If ChatGPT can read your blogs but cannot save or publish, your plan may be limited to read-only tools; publishing needs write tools.
- New LotsBlog tools don't show up
- Open LotsBlog under Plugins and refresh it, then start a new chat.

ChatGPT and LotsBlog: questions
- Can ChatGPT publish to my blog?
- Yes. Once LotsBlog is connected, ChatGPT can save the article as a draft, add images and topics, and publish or schedule it when you ask. Published posts go live on your LotsBlog address, your custom domain or yoursite.com/blog.
- Does it work in the ChatGPT mobile app?
- Set it up on chatgpt.com in a browser. Once it is added there, it works in your ChatGPT chats.
- Does ChatGPT publish anything without asking me?
- No. Saving a draft never publishes it. ChatGPT publishes or schedules only when you tell it to, and you can do the same from the LotsBlog dashboard.
- Do I need an API key?
- No. MCP clients sign in to LotsBlog with OAuth in your browser. API keys are only for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.
